Located next to Irene Pit, clays from Venato complement Minera Sabater's production.
Venato's deposits - located in the Utrillas facies and dating from the Albian Age - are a continuation of those found in Irene Pit, although the mineral content varies, which serves to complement the clay blends.
The wall of both pits consists of a sandy level more than 50 metres thick, which divides the zone from the Escucha facies. |
